Please note the finish of the place holders. They may or may not have a smooth finish. The underside remains in a stainless steel finish as pictured.

If holder is too tight for your paper item simply slide a butter knife in between clips. Use a piece of cloth or paper to sandwich the knife in to avoid marring the finish. Clips can be tightened with pliers once your paper item is placed inside. Clips are tight to hold your paper item in adverse conditions.
